Celebrating its 79th year, the Saline Community Fair runs Wednesday, August 27th through Sunday, August 31st at the Farm Council Grounds. Only the carnival rides will be open on Labor Day, Monday September, 1st. Promising something for everyone, the 2014 Saline Community Fair will feature animals, exhibits, music, rides, food and the 2014 Miss Saline Pageant.
Pre-fair events begin tonight, August 25, at 5:00 pm. August 27, the 72st Miss Saline Pageant will be held at the fair after the parade. Wednesday will be packed with activities for the whole family including Junior Live Stock animal showing, Ag Olympics with Saline Area Schools, and a chance to win free passes and other goodies at the Kick off Parade.
Monday, August 25
Pre-fair exhibits from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Tuesday, August 26, 2014
Pre-fair exhibits from 9:00 am until noon.
Wednesday, August 27
All Saline Junior Livestock clubs will show on Wednesday beginning in the morning.
Gates open at 9:00 am with rides starting at 3:00 pm.
Parade in the fair parking lot at 6:30 pm.

Thursday, August 28
Preschool Day: Admission is $5 (ages 2 and up) 9:00am – 2:00pm.
Cement slab tractor pull beginning at 9:00 a.m.
A2SO pet instruments going from 9:00 a.m. – noon.
Friday, August 29
Ladies’ Day: All women 11 and older will get in for $5 until 1:00pm.
Horse Pull at 1:00pm.
Saline’s Got Talent at 6:00pm.
Fiddlers Restrung (stage) 7:30 pm.
Saturday, August 30
Children’s Day: Admission for ages 11 and up is $7.
Rides open at 1:00 pm.
Bike drawing at 4:00 pm.
Chicago Honey Bears (stage) at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
Sunday, August, 31
Agriculture Day: Ages 11 and up $7.
Car Show from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Taste of Agriculture goes from noon until 3:00 pm.
